1. When I hear the word "news" I usually think about the latest news I've just read. The news related in so many topics and normally tend to be a "breaking news". In addition as I know so far, there are some kinds of news texts like straight news and feature news, also there are various language style in writing news.
2. In my opinion, social media has a bigger impact in changing the way we consume news. Since digitalization is really happening right now, we can't deny that there are so many news platforms on internet. In fact not all of the news written on news websites are accurate and written based on the fact. Now days, it is really easy to share many hoaxes. So, as a reader we should be careful in finding the right platform to read the news.
