Film and Literature

This course focuses on Film Adaptation from literary works. To be able to that the students have to be familiarized with the language of cinema so that they can discuss the film adaptations. The students are expected to explain different perspectives between the original literary works and their film adaptations as well as the reasons behind the different perspectives from that in the literary works. The students are exposed to reading of the original literary works and watching the film adaptations so they can develop the skill to recognize symbolism in both written and audio visual media.
