Some problems in technology and science are closely related to differential equations. Similarly in the civil engineering, some equations and solutions in

this area can be approached and solved by differential equations. This course includes: the understanding of differential equation (DE), 1st order DE,

2nd order DE, Laplace equation, high level DE, solving differential equations with series and matrix, and partial differential equations

Upon completion of the course, students are expected to understand the concepts of differential equations with various orders, solving the differential

equations with constant and variables coefficient, solving partial differential equations and using DE to solve civil engineering problems.
