The Citizenship course is designed for first-year students as part of the compulsory courses that must be taken in the first semester of their study. The course discusses the issue of citizenship, starting from its basic definition as an individual membership status or belonging to the state, also the condition in which citizenship can be understood as a political relationship between one, both as an individual and as part of society, with the state. In this regard, this course will develop a critical understanding of the students on the issue of citizenship and its relations with other related issues such as nationality, nationalism, equality, diversity, and also identity.
